I had total knee replacement surgery on April 3, 2018. My surgeon Dr. Eddie Huang is the greatest! He has a friendly, approachable demeanor and he is honest. Doctor Huang told me that I will need to use a walker for the first week, a cane for the second and by the third week, I will walk on my own. Four weeks after surgery, during physical therapy, I rode a stationary bike and now I am riding my regular bike five miles a day and walking my dog one mile each day. At physical therapy, I noticed huge scares on some people that had total knee replacement because their surgeon used staples. Doctor Huang used glue instead of staples on my surgical incision and it is hardly noticeable. It has been six weeks and I don’t have to take any pain medication. I find myself dancing to music, something that I haven’t been able to do in years. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I HAD THE TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT AND THAT DR. EDDIE HUANG WAS MY SURGEON.
